What a public URL workflow can—and cannot—do
A public Instagram URL can identify a video, but it does not solve access, privacy, or audio-quality problems.
What the URL gives you
A public link may let a service fetch a post without a sign-in. It does not prove that every frame, language, or sound layer will be available.
What it does not guarantee
- Private posts become readable.
- Captions contain every spoken word.
- Text stickers enter speech transcription.
- Music and overlapping voices separate cleanly.
- A service retains no copy of the media.
Choose and verify
Use a public URL only when the post is genuinely public and the tradeoff is acceptable. For authorized private or sensitive material, consider a local workflow. After an instagram transcript, replay names, numbers, and words under music and keep visual text separate.
